THE KRAKEN - ECO - Wheel Destressing Machine

With rims getting wider and wider, a destressing machine oor tool is a must-have for wheelbuilders that want to achieve the highest quality wheels and help eliminate aftersales service work such as tension loss or re-alignment of wheels due to inadequate manual destressing procedures. Another big advantage is that machine helps eliminate the high fysical demands of manual destressing. 

The Kraken ECO is functionally equal to our PRO version, but built with budget-friendly components and compatible with wheels from from lightweight (racing) to heavy (E-bike and enduro).

Optional: If the option for an integrated timer is chosen, the user can activate a second functionality to follow textile spoke destressing protocols (for example 1 or 2 minutes of automatic destressing

Specifications:

• Frame: Aluminium modulary and anodised profiles. 
• Wheel support: Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) CNC machined plate (27,5 and 700c) or solid dished block, with take-up 20" to 700c. 
• System pressure:  between 5 and 6 bars.
• Supply requirements: At least 6 bars and a compressor with 50L tank or more. 
• CE certified and in complience with OSHA safety standards, and other equivelants.
• Durable and modulary design. No electronics used. 
• Basic dimensions:  700x750x700mm. 
• Gross weight, around 30 kg's.
• ** Built with good quality, but more budget-friendly compontents than our PRO version.

* Important remarks: 

Machines clearly distiquish from static tools. A machine must always comply to CE, OSHA  (or local equivilant) safety regulations and certifications. This also applies for self-made or self-imported machines for in-company use, though it is a persistant myth amongst wheelbuilders that this would not the case.
